Maryvale's Mental Health Services
Mental health services address the emotional and psychological challenges that interfere with a child’s healthy functioning. A critical component of the residential program, mental health services in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health are intimately woven throughout the program of care for each child.
An outstanding team of compassionate and dedicated mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists, and a talented support staff deliver a comprehensive array of services that include:
- Multidisciplinary clinical assessment and evaluation
- Case management
- Psychotropic medication evaluation and management
- Individual, family and group psychotherapy
- Psychological testing and crisis intervention
In addition to the mental health services on campus, Maryvale provides professional services to local school districts and communities, and through programs at Maryvale’s Family Resource & Early Education Centers.
